Delivery of Casing Pipes with TMK UP PF and TMK UP PF ET Connections for Lukoil Offshore Drilling

In August 2018, a casing with TMK UP PF ET premium threaded connection with a diameter of 273 mm, P110, was successfully run on MLSP-1 (small-sized offshore ice-resistant oil-producing platform) in the Yury Korchagin field in the North Caspian. The entire string was supplied with GREENWELL dry dope-free coating. The string was run downhole in the presence of TMK-Neftegazservis supervisors. The control of the assembly of the connections was carried out according to the make-up diagrams, which allowed ensuring gas tightness of the assembled connection. At the end of the run, according to the drilling plan cementing and pressure testing for 30 minutes at 16.5 MPa were carried out. The pressure drop was 0 MPa. The string was recognized as gas tight. This was the first run with the use of premium TMK thread in the production drilling in the North Caspian.
